A “big” news is spreading across the net recently, claiming that facebook is going to close the website and all it’s services on March 15th 2011… But cant this be true?
The shortest and logical answer is of course NO! The fake news was published today by weeklyworldnews and of course spread on twitter, facebook and blogs with the speed of light. Weeklyworldnews is already known as the source of many rumors whose the main purpose is to get viral traffic on their website.
Although Mark Zuckerberg may be “bored” from money, it is out of mind he could throw the towel and just close down the entire website that has a net worth of around $50 billion.
However we all know many people will fall on this trick pretty quickly although it’s not harmless, just a bit of fun.
So facebook users around the globe, all 500 million or more of them, there’s no need to worry, no need to start saving your pictures and no need to start looking for a facebook alternative that could fill in a vacant space in your life. Facebook is in its peaks and is likely to stay online for a very very long time yet!
