This is a simple tip you can use to launch your favorite programs faster (let’s say Yahoo Messenger):
1. Create a shortcut to the program you want or
-if it exists, just rename it to the shortest possible name (see below):
2. Copy or move the shortcut to your system directory (usually C:WINDOWSsystem32)
3. Do this for any other program you want.
Now to launch any of the programs
-go to Start >>Run or just press Win+R from your keyboard to launch Run dialog and
-type there the name of shortcut then hit Enter (as for above example, type y to launch Yahoo Messenger)

The system will first search in the system32 directory for an exact-match file name (which is the shortcut) and open that program.
That simple! ![]()
