This company seems not to have suffered direct or indirect consequences of the tsunami that hit Japan in March.
During April, the chief of Intel, Paul Otellini, Intel pledged that the company will market the Tablet operating systems Android, MeeGo or Windows.
Intel is also working on Medfield, a chip designed for smartphone, but will have to wait at least 12 months until a smartphone powered by Medfield to come on the market.
With these moves, Intel hopes to join in real-Tablet s market, market which is currently dominated by those built with ARM chip.
